The length of a rectangular is 7cm less than twice its breadth .if the length is decrease by 2cm and breadth increase by 3cm ,the perimeter of the resulting rectangle is 66cm.find the length and breadth of the original rectangle.

let breadth be x cm
then length = 2x -7
given that

2( 2x-7-2 +x+3) = 66
3x -6 =33
x = 13 = original breadth

original length = 2×13 -7 =19 cm
