let the breadth be x

therefore length =3x

Formula of perimeter=2(l+b)

perimeter =144m

2(x+3x)=144

2*4x=144

x=\frac{144}{8}

x=18m

3x=3*18=54m

length=54m

breadth=18m

Answer:

length=(3x) and breadth = (x)

perimeter = 144m

P=2(l+b)

144=2(3x+x)

144=2*4x

144/2=4x

72=4x

72/4=x

18=x

Now,length=(3x)=(3*18)=54

breadth=(x)=18
