let breadth of the rectangular plot be =x

let length be=20+x

area =l*b

=x*20+x=40x

thus length =40

breadth=20

area=40*20=800sqmetre

cost of fencing per 20metre=rs 40000

800/20=40

total cost= 40000*40=1,600,000
