Let,

Breadth of the rectangular plot be x m

So, length of the rectangular plot will be (x+7) m

Now,

A/Q

\tt2(l + b) = 154m

\implies\tt 2[(x + 7)+ x]= 154

\implies\tt 2x + 7 = \frac{154}{2} \\

\implies\tt 2x + 7 = 77

\implies\tt 2x = 77 - 7

\implies\tt x =  \frac{70}{2}

\implies\tt x = 35

So,

The breadth of the rectangular plot is 35m

And the length of the rectangular plot is (35+7)=42m

L.H.S

\tt 2(l + b)

\tt = 2(42 + 35)

\tt = 2 \times 77

\tt = 154 \: m

Answer:

Let,

Breadth of the rectangular plot be x m

So, length of the rectangular plot will be (x+7) m

Now,

A/Q

\tt2(l + b) = 154m2(l+b)=154m

\implies\tt 2[(x + 7)+ x]= 154⟹2[(x+7)+x]=154

$$\begin{lgathered}\implies\tt 2x + 7 = \frac{154}{2} \\\end{lgathered}$$

$$\implies\tt 2x + 7 = 77$$

$$\implies\tt 2x = 77 - 7$$

$$\implies\tt x = \frac{70}{2}$$

$$\implies\tt x = 35$$

So,

The breadth of the rectangular plot is 35m

And the length of the rectangular plot is (35+7)=42m
