let the width= x m

length = thrice of width = 3x

area = 432m^2

length × width = 432

3x × x = 432

x^2 = 144 =>x = √144

=> x = 12m

width = x = 12m

Answer: width of rectangular plot = 12m

hey

here is answer

given - length of the rectangle = thrice its breadth

area= 432m ^2

solution-

let the breadth of rectangle be x

hence length be 3x

area of. rectangle = length*breadth

hence

x*3x=432

3x^2=432

x^2=432

x^2=144

x=_/144

x=12m

hence breadth= 12m

length= 3x= 12*3

=36m

hope it helps

thanks
