length of land is twice it's breadth

L=2B

perimeter of rectangle is 2(L+B)=180

2(2B+B)=180

3B=180/2

3B=90

Breadth is 30 meter

length is 60 meter

Area is l×b=(60)×(30)

1800m^2 is the area.

\mathfrak{\large{\underline{\underline{Answer :-}}}}

The area of the Rectangle is 1800 m².

\mathfrak{\large{\underline{\underline{Explanation :- }}}}

Given :

Length of the Rectangle = Twice its Breadth

Perimeter of the Rectangle = 180 m

To Find :

The area of the Rectangle

Solution :

Consider the Breadth as x

Length = 2x

\boxed{\sf{Perimeter=2(Length+Breadth)}}

\sf{\implies} \: 2(2x + x) = 180

\sf{\implies} \: 4x + 2x= 180

\sf{\implies} \: 6x= 180

\sf{\implies} \: x=  \dfrac{180}{6}

\sf{\implies} \:x = 30

Breadth = 30 m

\rule{300}{1.5}

Value of 2x

\sf{\implies} \:30 \times 2

\sf{\implies} \:60

Length = 60 m

Breadth = 30 m

\rule{300}{1.5}

Area of the Rectangle -

\boxed{\sf{Area=Length \times Breadth}}

\sf{\implies} \: 60 \times 30

\sf{\implies} \: 1800

\therefore The area of the Rectangle is 1800 m².
