Step-by-step explanation:

Hello mate

Here is your answer

Let the length and breadth be 2x and x respectively

Then perimeter = 2*(length +breadth)

= 2*(x+2x)

= 2*3x

= 6x

But, perimeter = 420 m (given)

6x= 420

=> x = 420/6

=> x = 70

Breadth = 70m

And, length = 140m

Now, Area = length *breadth

= 140*70m^2

= 9800m^2

hope it helps

Answer:

B= 70 m

B= 70 m= 140 m

Step-by-step explanation:

l =2b

perimeter of rectangle = 2(l+b)

----->

420 = 2( 2b+b)

420 = 2( 3b )

==>

b = 420/6b = 70m

= 2b = 2 ( 70 )= 140m
