Answer:

Breadth= x meters

Length = 3x +1 meters

Perimeter = 2( l + b ) = 66 meters

P = 2 ( 3x + 1 + x )

66 = 2 ( 4x + 1 )

66 = 4x +1

2

33-1 = 4x

32 = x

x = 8 meters = Breadth

Length = 3x + 1 = (3×8) + 1 = 24 + 1 = 25

Let breadth=(x) meter

Length=(3x+1)meter

A.T.Q.:

2(L+B)=66

2(3x+1+x)=66

2(4x+1)=66

4x+1=33

4x=32

x=8

hence breadth=(x)meter=8meter

Length=(3x+1)meter=3*8+1=25meter
