area of wall - area of two square shelves = 42 m2
10×breadth - 2(2×2)=42
10b - 8 =42
10b = 42+8=50
b=50/10=5 m

Step-by-step explanation:

Given that,

Rectangular wall length is 10m.

Shelves is covered 42m

2

.

We know that,

Area of wall-area of two square shelves =42m

2

.

10×breath−2(2×2)=42

10b−8=42

10b=42+8=50

b=50/10=5m

Then,

We get breath is 5m.
