Step-by-step explanation:

Since width is 120cm,

Length of rectangular wooden board=120x3

                                                             =360cm

Cost of framing=(360/20)x$5

                         =$90

Hope this helps!

Answer:

The cost of framing  = Rs. 240

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the length = 3x cm = L

Let the width = x cm = B = 120cm

Let the cost = Rs. y

According to the question:-

Perimeter of the rectangular wooden board = 2(L+B) = 2(3x+x) = 2(4x) = 8x cm = 960 cm

So,

960 *5 = 20 * y

=> 48*5 = y

=> Rs.240 = y

Hence,

The cost of framing = y = Rs. 240
