then the length = 3x

and as we know that perimeter of a rectangle = 2 ( l +b )

==) 2 ( 3x + x ) = 84
==) 2 × 4x = 84

==) 8x = 84
==) x = 84/8 m

then the required length of rectangle is 3 x =
(84/8 ) × 3 = 31. 5 m

which is 10.72 m
