Answer:

Length=8 metre

Step-by-step explanation:

let the breadth of the room be x

then the length will be 2x

(x)(2x)=32

2x²=32

x²=16

x=4 metre then 2x(length) will be=2×4=8 metre

Answer:

8

Step-by-step explanation:

length = 2 x breadth (given)                                 (1)

area = 32

therefore, area = length x breadth

                    32  = 2 x breadth x breadth           from (1)

                     32 = 2b square

                      32/2 = b square

                       16 = b square                                   ( 4 x 4 = 16 )

                         4 = b

therefore, length = 4 x 2 = 8                                       ( from 1 )
