Area of the square room = 1200×1200=1440000

Area of the square tile=25×25=625
so,tiles required=224
total cost= Rs 2880

Length of square room = 12m = 1200 cm

Length of square tile = 25 cm

Area of room = 1200^2 = 1440000 cm^2

Area of 1 tile = 25^2 = 625 cm^2

Number of tiles Required = 2304

Now,

Cost of 1 m^2 = Rs 20

=> Cost of 1 cm^2 = 20 / 10000

=> Cost of 1440000 cm^2 = 1440000 × 20 / 10000

= 144 × 20

= Rs 2880
