The length of arectangke exceeds its width by 8cm and the area of the rectangle is 240sq.Cm find the dimension of the rectangle

length = w+8

area= 260sq.cm

l=

A=l multiplied by b

=w+8+w = 240

=2w+8=240

=2w=240/8

=30

=w = 30/2 = 15 cm
