Sᴏʟᴜᴛɪᴏɴ :

• Length of cubiod = 12 cm

• Let breadth of cubiod = x cm

• Height of cubiod = x cm

Volume of cubiod = lbh

⇒ 12 × x × x = 12x²cm³

Volume of cubiod = 432 cm³

⇒ 12x² = 432

⇒ x² = 432/12

⇒ 36

⇒ 6²

  • Breadth = 6 cm
  • Height = 6 cm

Cubiod cut into two cubes ⇒ length of the each cube should be 6 cm

L.S.A. of cube

⇒ 4(side)²

⇒ 4(6)²

144 cm²
