volume of cuboid =432cm³ (given)
let the breadth and height be x cm
we know,
volume of cuboid = lbh
432=12*x*x
432/12=x²
36=x²
x=√36
x=6
therefore,breadth=6cm and height=6cm.
Now the cuboid is cut in 2cubes (along the length)
So, length of each cube= 12/2=6cm
Here,
(length=6cm,breadth=6cm,height=6cm)of each cube.
lateral surface area of cube =4a²
=4*(6)²
=4*36
=144cm²
Therefore, lateral surface area of each cube is 144cm².
