The length of cylindrical metal (copper) is 1 cm
and radius is 2.0 mm. If 120 V potential difference
applying across the ends of the rod than find out
the electric current flowing through it.
(Resistivity of copper is 1.7 x 10-22-m)

  • v=120
  • l=1
  • r=2 ,
  • \pi {r}^{2}  = a \\
  • 22÷7×2×2
  • 88÷7=a
  • 12.5=a

Explanation:

R=rho.l÷a

1.7×10-22÷12.5

0.136×10-22

i=vr

i=240
