The two diagonals of a rhombus intersect at a right angle

Given that the two diagonals are 16 cm and 12 cm

Find the length of the side:

length of a = 16 ÷ 2 = 8

length of b = 12 ÷ 2 = 6

a² + b² = c²

c² = 8² + 6²

c² = 100

c = 10 cm

Answer: The length of the side of the rhombus is 10 cm
