let the breadth of rectangle(b) be x m

length of rectangle(l)=2x+1 m

now

area of the rectangle(a)=55 sq. m

or, l*b=55

or, (2x+1)*x=55

or, 2x^2+x-55=0

or, 2x^2+11x-10x-55=0

or, (2x+11)(x-5)=0

either,

2x+11=0

x==11/2(impossible)

or,

(x-5)=0

x=5 m

again,

length of the rectangle(l)=(2x+1)=2*5+1=11m
