Given :- The length of every chord in a circle is always greater than the length of a radi. (True / False.)

Answer :-

we know that,

  • A chord is a straight line whose both end points lies on the circle .
  • Radius is a straight line whose one end point is on the centre and other is on the circle .
  • Diameter of circle is biggest chord in a circle .
  • Radius is half of the radius .

so,

→ Radius = Diameter / 2

→ Radius = Chord / 2

→ Chord = 2 * radius .

therefore, we can conclude that, The length of every chord in a circle is not always greater than the length of a radi.
