here's ur answer...

let the parallel sides be 7x and 5x.

area of the trapezium=252cm²

1/2×h(b1+b2)=252cm²

1/2×14(7x+5x)=252cm²

7×12x=252cm²

12x=252/7

12x=36

x=36/12

x=3

hence, b1=7x

=7×3

=21cm

b2=5x

=5×3

=15cm
