The ratio of parallel sides are - 7 : 5.

So, Let the lengths be 7x & 5x.

We know that,

$Ar\ of\ trapezium= \frac{1}{2}\times height (Sum\ of\ parallel \ sides)$

⇒ $252= \frac{1}{2} \times 14 \times (7x + 5x)$

⇒ $252 = 7 (12x) = 84x$

⇒ $x = \frac{252}{84} = 3$

The parallel sides are: 7x = 7 × 3 = 21 cm
                        
                                      5x = 5 × 3 = 15 cm
