Let the breadth of rectangle be x
Then the length of rectangle is x+4
So length of new rectangle will be x + 4 + 3
And breadth of new rectangle will be x + 3
Therefore ATQ:-
(x+3)(x+7) = x(x+4) + 81
x²+ 3x + 7x +21 = x² + 4x +81
x² + 10x = x² +4x + 81 -21
x² - x² +10x - 4x = 60
6x = 60
x =10
Length & breadth of the rectangle is 14cm and 10cm respectively
Length and breadth of the new rectangle is 17cm and 13cm respectively.
