Let the breadth be X

let the length be X+2

perimeter = 82cm

A.T.Q.

X+X+2= 82

2x+2=82

2x=82+2

2x=80

X= 80/2

X= 40

breadth = 40cm

length = 42cm

Answer:

Given perimeter of the rectangle is 82cm.

Let the beathe be (x)cm

Nd it's length be (2x+2)cm

ATQ,

we know the p=2(length+breadth)

so,

82=2{2x+2+x}

82=2(2+3x)

82=4+6x

82-4=6x

78=6x

x=78/6

x=13

Now breadth=13

length=(2x+2)=2×13+2=28..
