Hey Mate!!

  • Let its breadth be x
  • => Its length = 70 + 5x

Perimeter = 2(length + breadth)

=> 370 = 2(70 + 5x + x)

=> 370 = 2(70 + 6x)

=> 370 = 140 + 12x

=> 370 - 140 = 12x

=> 230 = 12x

=> x = 230 ÷ 12

=> x = 19.17 m

  • Breadth = x = 19.17 m
  • Length = 70 + 5x = 165.85 m

Area of rectangle = length × breadth

=> 19.17 × 165.85

=> 3179.35 (approx.)

Hope it helps...✌✌

Step-by-step explanation:

let the breadth of the rectangular field be = X m

length of the rectangular field = 5x+70

perimeter of rectangular field = 370 m

perimeter of rectangular field = 2(l+b)

370 = 2(X+5X+70)

370 = 2(6x+70)

370 = 12x+140

12x = 370-140

12x = 230

x = 230/12

x = 19.167

breadth = 19.167

length = 165.834

Area = 19.167 × 165.834

= 3178.540
