GIVEN:-

For a rectangular plot,

length is twice the breadth and area is given as 2502 m²

TO FIND:-

The length of the rectangular plot

EXPLANATION:-

let breadth of the rectangle=b

then according to the given information,

l=2b

Now we know that

 \boxed{ \sf \: area \: of \: rectangle = lb \: sq.units}

but the area is given as 2502 m²

now substituting the values in the formula and

equating it to 2502

 =  > lb = 2502

 =  > 2b \times b = 2502 \\  =  > 2 {b}^{2}  = 2502 \\  =  >  {b}^{2}  = 1251 \\  =  >  \bold{b = 35.3 \: m}

length=2b

 =  > l = 2 \times 35.3 \\  =  >  \bold{l = 70.6 \: m}

Therefore,

length of the rectangularly field=70.6 m

SOLUTION:-

Given:

The length of rectangular plot is twice its Breadth if the area of rectangular plot is 2502m².

To find:

The length of rectangular plot.

Explanation:

•The length of rectangular plot is twice its breadth.

•Area of rectangular plot= 2502m²

According to the question:

We know that, area of rectangle;

=) Length × breadth sq. units.

•Assume the length of rectangular plot is 2R m

&

Assume the breadth be R m

Therefore,

=) (2R ×R) = 2502

=) 2R² = 2502

=) R² = 2502/2

=) R² = 1251

=) R= √1251

=) R= 35.36m

Thus,

•Length of a rectangular plot is 2R;

=) 2 × 35.36m

=) 70.73m

•Breadth of a rectangular plot is R, = 35.36m
