Step-by-step explanation:

Given :

  • The length of room is double the breadth. Its height is 3m.

  • Area of the 4 walls is 180sq.m.

To Find :

  • Find its volume

Solution :

Let the breadth is x and length will be 2x.

Area of the 4 walls is 180sq.m.

                 2(l + b) × h = 108

  • Substitute all values :

                 2(2x + x)  × 3= 108

                ( 4x + 2x ) 3 = 108

                     12x + 6x = 108

18x = 108

                        x = 6.

the length will be 2 × 6 = 12.

Volume = l × b × h

  • Substitute all values

              = 12  × 6 × 3

             = 216

  • Hence the Answer is 216
