Increase in length is  2.3\times 10^{-2}\ m.

Given :

Length of aluminium rod , L = 50 m.

Initial temperature , T_i=303 \ K.

Final temperature , T_f=323\ K.

Linear coefficient of aluminium , \alpha=23\times 10^{-6}\ K^{-1}.

We know ,

Change in length , \Delta L=L\times \alpha\times(T_f-T_i)

Putting all the values in above equation.

We get , \Delta L=2.3\times 10^{-2}\ m.

Therefore, increase in length is  2.3\times 10^{-2}\ m.

Hence, this is the required solution.
