Given : volume=432, length=12,breadth=height
length x breadth x height = 432
breadth x height = 432/12
breadth = height[given]

hence => breadth x breadth = 36
breadth= sqrt[36]
breadth=6
this means height = 6

so height =6
breadth =6
length =12

cube should have all sides of same length

so each cube should have 6x6x6 length

so side of cube a=6

lateral surface area of cube = 4 x a x a
= 4 x 6 x 6
= 4 x 36
= 144

so each new cube should have LSA[lateral surface area]=144

Answer:144

Step-by-step explanation:Given : volume=432, length=12,breadth=height

length x breadth x height = 432

breadth x height = 432/12

breadth = height[given]

hence => breadth x breadth = 36

breadth= sqrt[36]

breadth=6

this means height = 6

so height =6

breadth =6

length =12

cube should have all sides of same length

so each cube should have 6x6x6 length

so side of cube a=6

lateral surface area of cube = 4 x a x a

= 4 x 6 x 6

= 4 x 36

= 144
