the diagonals of a rhombus bisect each other at an angle of 90°.

use Pythagoras theorem to side the side of the rhombus

16^2+12^2=x^2

256+144= x^2

400= x^2

20 = x

20 cm is the length of the rhombus

area of rhombus = 4 x area of triangle AOB

= 4 x 1/2 x 16 x 12

= 384

area of rhombus = base x height = 384

: 20 h = 384

height = 19.2 cm
