The length of the diagonals of a rhombus is 42 cm and 20 cm. Find the perimeter of the rhombus.

Given :-

  • Diagonal 1 = 42 cm
  • Diagonal 2 = 20 cm

Using formulas,

P = 4a

a =   \sqrt{ \frac{ {p}^{2} +  {q}^{2}  }{2} }

Solving for perimeter,

p = 2 \sqrt{ {p}^{2}  +  {q}^{2} }

 =  > 2 \sqrt{ {42}^{2} +  {20}^{2}  }

=> 93.03763 or 93.04 cm
