Length of the equator of the globe or circumference of a globe = 44 cm
r = ?
Circumference = of the globe = 2πr
44 = 2*22/7*r
r = (44*7)/44
r = 7 cm
Now,
Surface area of the globe = 4πr²
= 4*22/7*7*7
Surface area = 616 cm²
