l = 14+b
b=?
P= 180cm
Area=?
P=2(l+b)
180 =2(14+b+b)
180= 2(14+2b)
180=28+4b
180-28=4b
152=4b
b=152/4
=38cm
l=14+38
=52cm
Area=l ×b
=52×38
=1976cm²
Hope it helps you

Answer:

Area of rectangle is 1976 cm².

Step-by-step explanation:

Let length be l and breadth be b.

According to Question,

l = b + 14

Perimeter of rectangle = 2 (l + b)

=> 180 = 2 (b + 14 + b)

=> 180 = 2 (2b + 14)

=> 180 = 4b + 28

=> 4b = 180 - 28

=> 4b = 152

=> b = 38

So, breadth = 38 cm

Length = b + 14

=> l = 38 + 14

=> l = 52

Now, area of rectangle = l * b

=> A = 52 * 38

=> A = 1976 cm²
