let the breadth be x cm
so length = x+5 cm
perimeter of a rectangle = 2(l+b)
62 = 2(x+x+5)
62 = 2(2x+5)
4x+10 = 62
4x=52
x=52/4
x=13
so the breadth is 13 cm and length is 13 + 5 = 18 cm
then the area is equal to 13 x 18
=234 cm
hope it helps

breath= x cm length= x+5cm perimeter of rectangle = 2 (l+b) = 2 ( x+5+x ) 62/2 = 2x + 5 31 - 5 = 2x 26/2 = x x = 13 cm area= l * b = 13 * 18 = 234 cm2
