hiii!!!

here's ur answer...

given that the length of the rectangle is 5 cm more than the breadth of thr it's width.

let the breadth (width) of the rectangle be x.

therefore length of the rectangle is x + 5

area of the rectangle = 50cm^2

==> l * b =50cm^2

==> ( x+5)5 = 50cm^2

==> 5x + 25 = 50cm^2

==> 5x = 50 - 25

==> 5x = 25

==> x = 25/5

==> x = 5cm

hence, breadth of the rectangle = x = 5cm

length of the rectangle = x + 5 = 5 + 5 = 10cm
