Solutions :-

Let the breadth of the rectangle be x
Length ¾ of x

Given : perimeter = 126 cm

We know that,

Perimeter of rectangle = 2 (Length + Breadth)

A/q

=> 126 = 2(¾ of x + x)
=> 126 = 2(0.75x + x)
=> 126/2 = 1.75x
=> 63 = 1.75x
=> x = 63/1.75 = 36

Therefore,
Length = ¾ of x = ¾ × 36 = 27 cm
Breadth = x = 36 cm

Find the area of rectangle :-

Area of rectangle = Length × Breadth square unit
= (27 × 36) cm²
= 972 cm²

Hence,
Area of rectangle = 972 cm²

Heya!! here is your answer...

Let the breadth of rectangle be y
Then,
length of rectangle = 3/4 of breadth = 3/4 × y = 3/4y

Perimeter of the rectangle = 126 cm
Perimeter of the rectangle = 2 ( l +b )
= 2 ( 3/4 y + y ) = 2 ( 7 / 4 y ) = 7 /2 y

7 /2 y = 126
y = 126 × 2 / 7
y = 36

Therefore, Breadth = 36 cm
Length = 3/4 y = 3/4 × 36 = 27 cm

Area of rectangle = Length × Breadth
= 27 × 36 = 972 cm^2
