let the breadth be x meter

then, a/q

=> length = ( 2x - 5 ) meter
=> perimeter of rectangle = 2 ( l + b )

=> 50 = 2 ( 2x -5 + x )
=> 50 = 2( 3x - 5)
=> 25 = 3x - 5
=> 3x = 30 m
=> x = 10m
hence, breadth = 10 m and length = (2x - 5) = (2×10-5 ) = 15 m ...answer

hope this helps ! :-)

Hello

Your answer,

Let breadth be x m
So,
length = (2x-5) m

Given :-
Perimeter of the rectangle = 50

Perimeter of rectangle = 2(length+breadth)

=> 50 = 2 (2x-5 + x)

=> 50 = 2 (3x - 5)

=> 50 = 6x - 10

=> 50+10 = 6x

=> 60 = 6x

=> 60/6 = x

=> 10 = x

So,
breadth = x = 10 m
length = (2x-5) = (2*10 - 5) = 15 m

Hope this will be helpful
