The length of the shadow of a 3metre high pole at a certain time of the day is 3.6 metre. What is the height of another pole whose shadow is 54 metre long.

I think The Answer Would be Using Similarity Criterion....

Given Shadow of Pole of length 3m =3.6m

So the ratio→
length / Height = 3/3.6 = 1/1.2

Now Given. Length of Shadow of Another Pole = 54m

Let its Height be "x"m

So By Ratio...

54/x =1/1.2
→54×1.2=1×(x)

→x=64.8m
