We know that the perimeter of rectangle =4s

Where s= sides of square

So the side of square =2x-3  [GIVEN]

And perimeter=32

A.T.Q

4(2x-3)=32

\sf\;2x-3=\frac{32}{4}\\\\2x-3=8\\\\2x=8+3\\\\2x=11\\\\x=\frac{11}{2}\\\\x=5.5

Hence the value of x is 5.5 or 11/2
