the length of the side of a square was increased by 50%.By how many percent did the area of square increase

50%=1/2
here, 2 is initial value
and 1 is change ,means increase
than final become= 2+1=3
again
2²= 4 and 3²=9
% increase in area= (9-4)/2×100=5/2×100=250% will be the answer
