distance=speed*time

36kmph=36*(5/18)=10m/s

length of the train=10*8=80m

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Given that time taken to pass the pole = 8 sec

And speed of train =36 km/h

                                =36*1000/60*60 m/sec

                                = 10 m/sec

So , the length of the train = speed of train * time taken to pass the pole

                                            = 10 m/sec * 8 sec

                                             = 80 m
