so,
by Pythagoras therom ,
${h}^{2} = {b}^{2} + {p}^{2}$
h^2=8^2+6^2
h^2=64+36
h^2=100
h^2=10^2
h = 10
hence the hypotenuse of the right angled triangle ,h is 10 cm
