the length of two sides of a triangle are 4 cm and 6 cm. between what two measures should the length of the third side fall?and the answer will be 3 and 9? if yes so how​

we know that, the sum of any two sides of a triangle is greater than the third side

Therefore, 4 cm + 6 cm = 10 cm --------- 1

also, the difference of any two sides of a triangle is less than the third side.

Therefore, 6 cm - 4 cm = 2 cm -------- 2

So, the third side should be greater than 2 cm but less than 10 cm.
