The length of wire is 1m and area of cross- section is 0.5mm².If in increasing its length by 0.1mm, the work done is 5×10⁴, then calculate the Young's modulus of the material of the wire

The change in length will be the displacement caused by the work done.

So we take out force from the work done equation and substitute in Young's modulus equation.
