The lengths of diagonals of a rectangle are (3x-5) cm and (x+7) cm. Find the lengths of the diagonals.

d₁=d₂

3x-5=x+7

Transpose the constants on right side and variables on left side

3x-x=7+5

since d₁=d₂, d₂=13cm.
