area of trapezium: 1 by 2 into a + b into height .
FILL THE NUMBER IN THIS FORMULA PROPERLY AND CALCULATE YOUR SELF.
AT THE PLACE OF AREA OF TRAPEZIUM, PUT 252CM SQUARE AND THEN FOR 7 AND 5 ( assume same variable) So let's chose x. write 7x and 5x instead of writing a and b. calculate yourself as assuming it self as an equation. use the shifting method that is used in equation solving. The answer will be 36. THE OBTAINED ANSWER ISOLATE THE X AS 3CM. SO THE PARALLEL SIDE OF THE TRAPEZIUM IS 6 WHICH MEANS TWO PARALLEL SIDES. X +X=2× 3+3=6.
If my answer is incorrect then I am sorry for that.

Answer:

21 cm and 15 cm

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the parallel sides of a trapezium be 7x and 5x respectively.

Area of trapezium = 252 cm²

According to the question ;

Area of trapezium = \frac{1}{2} * (sum of || sides ) * h

⇒ Area of trapezium = \frac{1}{2}* (7x + 5x) * 14

⇒ 252  = 7 ( 7x + 5x )

⇒ 12x = 252 / 7

⇒ 12x = 36

⇒ x = 36 / 12

⇒ x = 3

Therefore, parallel sides are ;

7x = 7 * 3 = 21 cm

5x = 5 * 3 = 15 cm
