Answer:

GIVEN :

  • Parallel side of trapezium = 19 cm and 13 cm
  • Area = 128 cm²

TO FIND :

Distance between them

SOLUTION :

We know that

 \large \sf \: Area = \dfrac{1}{2} \bigg(a + b \bigg) \times h

Let the height be x

 \large \sf \to \: 128 = \dfrac{1}{2} \bigg(19 +13 \bigg) \times h

  \large \sf \to \: 128 \times 2 = \bigg(19 + 13 \bigg) \times h

 \large \sf \to \: 256 = 32 + h

 \large \sf \to \: \dfrac{256}{32} = h

 \large \sf \to \: 8 = h
