 area = 128 cm^2
height = ?
 
area of trapezium =  $\frac{1}{2} * (sum of parallel sides) * height$
                128 cm^2  =  $\frac{1}{2} * 32 * h$
                 128 / 32 = $\frac{1}{2} * h$
                  $\frac{2*4}{1} = h$
      therefore h =  8 cm

so formula for area of trapezium(A) =  $\frac{1}{2}$ x sum of parallel sides(S) x perpendicular distance between parallel sides (P)

so here S = 19 + 13 cm = 32 cm

A = 128 cm²

P =  ?

so 128 = $\frac{1}{2}$  x 32 x P

⇒  P = $\frac{128*2}{32}$
