The lengths of the parallel sides of a trapezium are in the ratio 4:7. If the height of a trapezium os 14m and its area is 385 sq. m, find the length of its parallel sides.

⇒ 11x = 385 / 7


⇒ 11x = 55


⇒ x = 55 / 11


⇒ x = 5


Therefore, parallel sides are ;


4x = 4 * 5 = 20 m


7x = 7 * 5 = 35 m
