hi!

as we know the perimeter of a parallelogram = 2(a+b)        .........(i)

it is given that perimeter = 140cm                ...........(ii)

and the two sides are 2x and 5x i.e. a = 2x and b = 5x

therefore,from (i) &(ii)

2(2x+5x) = 140

=> 2(7x) = 140

=> 7x = 140/2

=> 7x = 70

=> x = 70/7

=> x = 10cm

now as x=10

thus,

2x = 2 x 10

=> 2x = 20cm

hope it helps.............pl mark the brainliest!
